Meet the staff

Mobile Sound Entertainment is a small family owned operation. We don’t sub-contract our entertainers unless you request so, and you know who your DJ will be from the very start. We hold high standards and keep our company simple to give the client more attention. Here is our staff that is available and anxious to meet you!

Dominick J Buonantuono

As the main operator and owner of Mobile Sound Entertainment, Dominick’s experience goes back to his early teenage years. His first party was in 1990 for a school function, and that’s when he knew what he wanted to do. He worked hard as a DJ assistant and eventually became a music mixer, and soon Master of Ceremonies. He started out with vinyl and the just arrived technology of compact discs. After a couple years, he started Mobile Sound Productions and became his own boss, while still working and learning from industry leaders in NY. He later went on to Long Island University and obtained his BA in Broadcasting, as well as a degree in technical electronics. He worked the NY entertainment market from all angles, performing for thousands of clients and numerous night clubs in the Hamptons and NYC. He performed for the rich and the famous, the old and the young, and everything in between. His dreams were to bring all his experience and talent to Southwest Florida, and he did that when he created Mobile Sound Entertainment in 1995. To this day, Dominick continues to provide dynamic unsurpassed entertainment to the Southwest Florida area.

James Buonantuono

As a family ran business, James has trained and learned under the critical eye of his brother Dominick. Proving himself each time, he has now evolved into professional experienced mobile DJ and Emcee. He has performed for 5 years on his own, and constantly packs the dance floor. His music background is derived from Dominick’s personal collection, and he adds his own ingredients to make himself original. He is a pleasant and well mannered person, and is appropriate for any event. He attends the International DJ expo each year with our other staff members to learn the most current trends and technology. His young energetic charisma will be sure to keep him busy for the years to come.

Joseph Buonantuono

In training currently, Joseph is learning as much as possible to become a professional DJ & Emcee. Joseph is available to accompany our staff in all events as a music mixer. He is a people person, and can multitask our larger functions and help work the crowds. Joseph will soon be our next best thing!

Cindy Pepito

Cindy is our do it all superwoman. She assists with our busy office, and keeps everyone in line! She also works our children’s functions, entertaining kids with our games and activities. Her latest time consuming activity is her and Dominick’s newborn son, Dominick Jr. (watch out for him!)

Jessica Barnes

Fun & energetic describes Jessica. She is our crowd motivator & dancer extraordinaire. Also a great compliment to our children’s parties, Jessica interacts with kids and provides outstanding direction.
