Equipment

Mobile Sound Entertainment only uses the best in sound and lighting equipment. All of our music is on crystal clear CD and PC format, using the latest in DJ technology to meet all applications. We always have backup equipment on site, and test our equipment completely before each event. Our sound and lighting equipment is serviced monthly to assure everything is in perfect working order. The owner himself holds a degree in technical electronics, and has the background to repair most equipment on or off site.

We offer a variety of setups of sound and lighting, each one made to suit your event properly. All of our setups are made to be meticulously neat and presentable, using professional cases and front facades. All our wires are black and concealed out of site. We employ UHF technology in all our wireless mics, and have multiple mic systems available.

Sound

Processing/Pre-Amp
Our processing uses the best in Apogee sound, and Pioneer/Numark head units. Our main system is operated along with Rane Serato software, the latest in Mobile DJ technology. Power suppression is by ART, and we use 10 gauge power wire and all balanced connections.

Sound Boards
For sound reinforcement we offer an 8 channel mixer with one effects send, and one monitor send. It uses XLR type connections and is made by JBL. We also offer some effects processors that include reverb & echo effects.

Amplification
Our large venue sound system uses world renowned Apogee amplification, while all our other systems use Crown and QSC. All are connected through neutrik terminals for durable corrosion free connections.

Speakers
We update our speakers every 3 years. We are currently using EV Sx series for our large venues, and JBL MPro & EON for small to medium size venues. We use double and single 18” subwoofers for medium to large venues. Our JBL speakers double as stage monitors when needed.

Microphones
All of our mics are high quality, including the popular Shure SM58. Our wireless technology consists of Sennheiser and Shure, operating on UHF only.

Cases
All our cases are from major manufactures such as Odyssey and SKB. They are also updated every three years from normal wear and tear.

Lighting

We offer many different types of lighting. We use brands such as Martin, Chauvet, and American DJ. Lighting can be mounted several different ways depending on the application. We offer pole mounted, T-Bar mounted, and our 10ft truss system.

Basic lighting
Includes 2 or 3 color lights the move to the beat of the music. Small to medium size venue.

Backdrop lighting effects
Uses Martin lighting effects to provide a water effect on the wall or ceiling that changes color. Very popular and soothing!

T-Bar lighting system
Uses 3-4 beat controlled party lights and strobes on a T- Bar stand that can be raised up to 12 ft.

10 foot truss system
Our ultimate system. Includes 6 computer controlled intelligent lights, Martin color changers, strobes, & backdrop lighting effects.

Stage lighting system
2 T-Bar stands raised up to 12ft. Includes 8 par 56 lights. Color or White, with foot controllers. Good for ambient lighting or disco type effect.

Other accessories

Black lights, fog machine, bubble machine, haze machine available as well.
